Minnesota Nice

back in cali....

what a great vaca...just basically a week's worth of hanging out with tony's family (i love them) and eating a lot of food (i said goodbye to atkins for the week)...i got to see snow..i was so happy..it felt like waking up at christmas...i was like a child.

as usual..i left my camera there...so tony's mom is sending it...once i get it..i'll have a ton of pics up for you to view...

among the highlights of my week:
-seeing all 5 nephews in one place...so cute
-spending a girls night with tony's mom & sis...
-eating carbs...lots of good carbs
-laughing after finding out the dog ate the 2 apple pies i made for thanksgiving
-sitting around the table with my new in-laws
-participating in the ping-pong tournament only to lose to a fifth grader

tony and i actually attempted to leave saturday...but after hours at the airport, they sent us home, without our luggage...only to use a diff airline on sunday morning...however, they did give us first class on our trip home....

we were supposed to be home around 10pm saturday....we finally rolled into bakersfield around 4pm sunday!!

now that we are both back...we are in bad shape...tony threw out his back...and on top of that has been throwing up since we got back (must have been the first class food)...not to mention i think i picked up a littel sinus infection while i was in the airport (shoulda been wearing a SARS mask)...

i'm so mad i forgot my camera..i'm dying to share some pics!! guess i'll have to wait till later this week.....

well...now that i'm back...i gotta get to work...december is always a fun month for church staff...

fog delay?

that's the kind of thing that puts school off for 2 hours in california winters.

i used to LOVE it in the winter when the radio would be on in the morning and you heard the words..."snow day for streator township high school..."

just my litte tidbit on this foggy tuesday morning.

i am swamped with work...leaving for vaca next monday :) never needed a vacation so bad in my life.

i'm not sure i expected the roller coaster that is "church-planting"...

i'm not sure i know all the time what God is trying to teach me...

i'm not sure i'm an effective creative arts director...

i'm not sure how to handle my emotions....

I am sure that God doesn't care about programs & "ministries" as much as He cares about his children worshipping Him in spirit & truth and "ministering" to the hurting & broken.

ok...fine kristi, i'll write something...

you MUST go see the movie "SAW"...tony and i went sat night and it was the weirdest movie ever...not to mention scarey, twisted, messed up....
whoever thought of the premise to this movie must have been a freak.

i was holding on to tony's arm so much that at one point he had to tell me that i was rubbing his arm skin raw.....

i seriously want to see it again though cause it will make more sense to me next time.

dont see this movie if you dont like blood, death, scarey white masks, closets, or oversized tricyles!!
