3 days till lift-off!!

wow, chirstmas came and went, just like 'dat.

tony and i had a nice laid-back holiday together filled with much eating, football and great presents, o and the cutest movie ever, polar express....

monday, we woke up early and began aggressively packing up our house...i say agressive, cause the minute my alarm went off in the morning i was taking down the christmas tree and decorations, and i single-handedly (literally..i used one hand) took the tree out and threw it in the dumpter....let's just say the tree was a little dried out (don't tell any fireman, sorry jason)...and i didn't recycle it either...i just whipped it the dumpster when no one was watching....

there's a farewell party for us tonight at church :(

our plan is to get on the road Friday morning....i may not be back in the blog world till we get to Minnesota...i'm sure we will have some road trip stories with 2 cats, snow, no winter coats, thinned west coast blood, and cheap hotels...

i have some games planned for the road trip, much to tony's dismay...i have 2 books of mad libs that will ensure a fun time....

shellafornia signing off for now...catch shellasota in the near future

no more christmas table....

my husband surprised me with a tree and unpacked all our christmas decorations....he put a pic on his blog..check it out..

less than 2 weeks till the big move...bless tony's heart..he has to put up with my emotional swings...the stress is getting to me...the excitement..the joy..the sadness..the anticipation...i pretty much cry about something every day..a couple times a day...

i'll try to keep up the blog for the holiday season..but i'm not making any promises...

don't blink...you'll miss the strand christmas display...because we are moving Dec. 31st...we are not decorating for christmas...no tree, no lights..no nothing..welli had to do something...so i set up a little christmas table...we even have a tree...we can just put our presents under the glass table, so they will be technically under the mini tree, then on christmas morning we can huddle around santa and open our stockings and gifts...aw our first christmas as husband and wife in an apt full of boxes. Posted by Picasa
