i've been lazy with the posting i know..it's just easier to put up pics...but i guesss words will have to do today...
i have a raging headache...allergy season is killing me lately....i got new meds though...so i'm waiting for them to kick in...
41 more days till wedding fun...
happy one-day-belated to Cory!! Happy today Birthday to Jamie!! wish i lived in the same state to party with you ladies!! there will partying soon enough though...soon enough...
i have a love-hate relationship with the united states post office: quick story:
a couple weeks ago i sent some pictures off in the mail to my soon-to-be mother-in-law, so she could create a cute scrapbook of pictues of tony and i to display at the wedding....you know, baby pics and growing up pics....
anyway, tuesday when i got home for work, i checked my mail and there was a clear plastic bag from the post office that said "we're sorry" and inside was the mangled envelope that used to contain my pictures!! note: not only were these pictures from 1978 on, they were pics i recovered from my grandma's house when she died, and she had written on the back of each one very descriptively with her beautiful handwriting. Needless to say, i cried my eyes out when i read the little clear envelope that basically said...'sorry we lost the contents of your mail, but this happens when you handle so much mail and we try to get to so many places...sorry for the inconvenience." UM "inconveneince"...more like..."sorry we took away all your precious memories"...
and i know, i know, i dont want to hear anything about how i shouldnt have mailed them and all that...i know....believe me, i already told myself all that....
anyway.....here's where the story gets good...
my loving fiance tony saved the day as usual...he got on the phone and did his magic...he talked to 2 differnet post offices in town, and probably 3 different people...he had the lady at the post office, personally searchign for my pictures...
to make a long story longer....i have my pictures back...they were found thursday morning!! tony, my hero, saved the day...and he even had the lady at the post office crying in happiness too!!
the funny part of the story: when the lady called tony thursday morning to describe the pictures to make sure they were mine...she looked at the first picture...which was a family picture of the 4 of us kids (scott, me, jen & lisa) and says..."i found the pics...there's a little red-head boy with glasses, a little blonde boy and 2 girls"....so apparently my dress in the pic didn't tip her off that i was in fact a girl and not a boy....
but, o well, i got my pics back!!

ok this post was a roller coaster of emotions. I was all down with you about the pics, then I was up and then I totally howled with laughter at the "little boy" part. Awww, shellsies poo and her short hair. I love you girl. You are ALL WOMAN.
